The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) – formerly known as the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) – has become one of Canada’s most popular labour immigration programs, providing Canadian permanent residence to skilled foreign workers and entrepreneurs. Processing times have also been significantly reduced, to just four to six months with a new online application portal.
In 2023, Alberta will have the highest employment rate of any province, with full-time employment accounting for more than 80% of all jobs in Alberta. Labour shortages remain in some sectors, and the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program will help employers find the workers they need.
